THINGS THAT ARE THE SAME TO DRAKE’S FORTUNE IS IN RED THINGS THAT ARE THE SAME TO AMONG THIEVES IS IN BLUE

Things I liked:

  • Stealth mechanism
    • First priority was to use stealth instead of guns
    • Had trouble doing a section stealthly because the enemies were not moving from their position
  • Improved hand-to-hand combat
    • Slighty improved from the second one; thought of the Arkham series, but not up to par
    • Grabbing the enemy and pushing them somewhere else
    • Grabbing weapon in mid fight/tumble: able to grab the weapon when the opponent goes down
  • Open the journal at any time
  • Funny dialogue throughout the game
  • Need to be conservative on ammo
    • Cannot just keep shooting
  • Different challenging puzzles
    • Was stuck on a few of the puzzles
  • Change of pace in-game
    • Riding horses and chase scenes

Things I did not liked:

  • Camera angle is bad when you’re running from someone/something
    • Cannot tell where you are going and might fall off the cliff
  • Little to no navigation of where to go
    • Not sure if it is just me, but sometimes I am unsure of where to go
  • Lots of glitches
    • I had some on the second one, but I encountered a lot on this one
    • Need to restart the checkpoint and do the task again
  • Throwing the grenade back
    • It was a cool idea to implement this, but it should have been mapped to another button
    • Often times, you were switching weapons if the weapons were nearby of the thrown grenade
  • The flame enemies (Djinn) was a pain to kill

Things that came to mind:

  • While doing stealth
    • Add more weapon choices like smoke grenades or pistol with silencer
    • Bird’s-eye-view to see where the enemies are at
  • JUST FOR LAUGHS:
    • They have amazing pockets. After all the events that happen throughout the game, they still have their important belongings
    • Realized how often Nathan gets caught, the antagonist never asks for his personal journal
